Thorpe St Andrew Parish Church

On Thursday 24th March 1983 the band visited Thorpe St. Andrew parish church to give a concert in aid of the "Tower and Ruins Restoration". In a concert there is often a guest soloist to break up the proceedings. This concert is unusual as the guest piano soloist appears to have been a member of the band.

Oxburgh Hall Quincentenary Fête Champêtre

The National Trust celebrated the Quincentenary of Oxburgh Hall with "Entertainment for the Whole Family" in on 22nd, 23rd and 24th of July 1982. One can see from the programmes here that Aylsham Band were in action on both Thursday and Saturday evenings.

Jubilee Brass

On Sunday October 28th 1979 the band shared the stage at St. Andrew's Hall in Norwich with the Roneo Vickers Band. The compère for the occasion was "Mr Patrick Anthony of Anglia Television".
